My Opinion About DoPornStars:
Who wouldn't love to do a porn star? Okay, maybe not do a porn star while being videotaped, but certainly fucking one or two of them would be a trip. The only chicks being banged on this site are porn babes, which makes sense for a site called Do Porn Stars.
The tour promises hot names like Aria Giovanni, Jenna Jameson and Tera Patrick. However, to my knowledge, Ms. Jameson no longer performs and Ms. Giovanni doesn't typically do hardcore. Well, the best way to really find out about DoPornStars is to get into the members area and check out what kind of porn buffet is on the menu.
The members' area isn't as glamorous as some of the babes, but at least there is a simple layout and while search features are basic, they get you to the content you want. There is a model and keyword search and once you reach the episode gallery, you can sort content by update and rating. Before you get to the gallery, you'll notice that there is a lot more to be had from this membership than just the porn stars. All members get access to 35 reality sites, 75 bonus and feed sites, as well as live chats, backstage and other videos.
Currently, there are 42 videos, which is actually a lot fewer than I'd hoped to discover. There are definitely some big names. Nina Hartley, Puma Swede, Eva Angelina, but I didn't find Jenna, Aria or even Tera amongst this selection. Younger babes like Bree Olsen are here and Sammie Rhodes appears in 23 episodes, which makes me think this site should be renamed the Sammie Rhodes Show. However, it soon comes to light that much of the DoPornStars content is coming from other, more original sites within the network.
Each episode comes with sets of between 140 and 160 photos. You'd think with so many porn stars on the site that the photos would be awesome. There are some really crisp, bright shots among the sets, but the 800x533 photos don't really qualify as high-quality in my books. Nevertheless, you can save pictures one at a time or there are Zips so that you can download your favourite sets.
Videos offer multiple themes. There are swinging couples, there are lesbians and there are those chicks who prefer one dick at a time. Only 26 of the 42 movies can be downloaded. The remaining films can only be streamed in a QuickTime or WMV player and the 544kbps, 320x240 qualities is far from stellar. Fortunately, the movies that can be downloaded are excellent 4000kbps, 1068x600 Windows Media Videos. There are also comparable Flash streams.
Final Verdict:
I had really high hopes for Do Porn Stars. After all, the tour promises some of the top names in the business. Sure, there are top-notch stars in some damn sizzling hardcore scenes, but some of the beauties promised just can't be found inside the site. Combined with the disappointing fact that only half the movies can be downloaded, Do Porn Stars doesn't really shape up to meet my expectations. In fact, I can think of at least a dozen other porn star sites that deliver much more than this one.
